Project Overview

My role as a UX/UI designer was to create an MVP for a new marketplace. The company was changing its business model from subscription boxes to selling vegan beauty and snacks products. The goal of these new web pages was to provide a seamless user experience for users to manage their orders, buy products and discover new products.

Discovery

Help users discover exciting new vegan products from new and established brands.

Subscription

A well-thought-out account page where people can manage their subscriptions easily.

Knowledge

Educate people with information about health and vegan products.

Mission

Communicate the mission of the brand to support the animal sanctuaries.

 

Surveys

Through Typeform we created surveys that helped us shape experiences that customers enjoyed. Some things that stood out were.

  • Cruelty-free & quality of products made them feel like they are caring for the environment.

  • People enjoyed trying new things & finding items not available locally.

  • People felt good about profits from their purchase going towards animal sanctuaries.

 
 

What vegan-curious people do not want to lose?

Nutrition

Vegan-curious customers worry about nutritional deficiencies. They want help adapting to a plant-based diet that meets their personal needs.

Comfort

People worry about losing the flavors and texture of non-vegan food. They are interested being able to find familiar flavors and textures.

Brand Concept

A concept that helps make a stock photo part of the brand.

Line Study

Studying line weight and flow to pick a line style that would fit the brand. The monoline with some stops worked the best.

Color Study

Tested color combinations to find what works together to create a consistent brand.

Created design systems that consisted of form elements, buttons, tags and tooltips
